  • Rosemary practices yoga to be reminded of who she is, to live in the moment, not dwell in the past or worry about the future. Her passion for yoga is rooted in her own liberation practice of self-care and living into the principles of yoga and self-awareness.

Rosemary strives to integrate yoga into her life and to share it with others. She believes that yoga enlivens the best in each of us, and a path to nourish the roots of our wellbeing and care for the lives around us. Her teaching style is rooted in Hatha Yoga and focuses on breath and alignment. It is her joy to create a class environment where there is something for everyone.

Rosemary honors her many teachers that have helped her develop on her journey and the indigenous cultures and wisdom from which continues to learn yoga and healing practices. Rosemary received her 500 hour yoga certification through Yogaworks in 2012. She is also trained in mind-body medicine through the Center for Mind-Body Medicine, a global trauma relief and resilience building non-profit.

"Rosemary is an extremely knowledgeable and deeply caring yoga instructor. I love that she provides a warm and supportive atmosphere for her students and is attentive to everyone’s needs. Her classes are both invigorating and relaxing, and accessible to experienced yoga practitioners and beginners alike."

  • Joy is a licensed acupuncturist skilled in understanding the intersection of the body, mind, and spirit. Joy received her master’s degree in acupuncture from Maryland University of Integrative Health in 2013, and has continuously expanded her training to integrate comprehensive medical assessments as well as intuitive energetic connections into her treatments. She treats a wide range of patients for pain, hormone fluctuations, chronic illness, autoimmune conditions and more.

Joy’s treatments are focused on healing the effects that individual and collective trauma–like symptoms of stress and inflammation–can have on one’s nervous system, digestive system, reproductive system and immune system. She’s passionate about bridging science and spirituality to help people incorporate their own wisdom, power, and intuition into their day-to-day living to navigate their body, home, relationships, and work. Her patients find they feel more ease and can make clear decisions that feel in alignment with their heart.

Joy practices acupuncture, feng shui, and astrology at her private practice in Silver Spring, Maryland. You can find her at joy-andrews.com

"I've been to other acupuncturists before and a visit with Joy stands out as a unique experience. It's like a 150 point inspection on your soul, a 360 approach to your well-being, and a thousand times amazing."
